1996 Honda NX650 Dominator - For Sale - London -See it at the HU Meeting at Lumb Farm

It pains me to do it... but here goes...

1996 NX650(T) Dominator
  • 22500 miles
  • Datatag anti-theft electronic identification system
  • New MOT to 04.2008 (Honda Chiswick)
  • 6 months Tax
  • Metzeler Tourance front and rear tyres (still have thousands of miles left in them) – both contain Ultra Seal
I bought the bike just over 2 years ago with 11 000 miles on her and 3 previous owners (apparently garaged for most of her life). To get her ready for traveling, I made the following modifications:
  • Acerbis hand guards (I still have the originals if you want them)
  • Spare clutch and throttle cables (waterproofed) run through the bike along side current cables
Ernie at Overland Solutions helped out with:
  • ‘Big foot’ side stand enlargement
  • Headlight protector
  • 12V DIN socket with waterproof cap (fused under the seat)
  • Custom made, powder-coated, luggage racks
During the time I have had her I have had the following replaced (at Honda Chiswick):
  • Chain and sprockets
  • Front disc
  • Steering head bearing (replaced more as a precaution in a pre-trip service)
  • Steering drive cog and speedometer cable (A steering drive cog is a -stupidly- plastic cog that rotates when the front wheel does and powers the speedometer. They wear down with age)
She comes with some service history and paperwork & I have kept receipts for any parts replaced. The bike has had regular services whilst I have had her. There are a few minor scratches and a small dent on the tank (none my handywork!) – which is to be expected on a trail bike.

I am off to Australia at the end of July and cannot take her with me (despite several people suggesting I ride there), so I am hoping that some lovely soul will take her on more adventures for me!!

Things I will throw in with the bike:I’m looking for any reasonable offer around 1,900.

Buyer collects from SE London (SE14) after the HU meeting weekend (I'm getting one last ride in ).

Any questions? Email michelle underscore underscore clark at hotmail dot com.

Can't help with the bike but when you get closer to Brisbane give me a yell. Always a bed and beer for travellers! Where do you plan on starting in OZ?

Can't go unless someone buys my bike!

Aw, you had me excited there for a second.

I will be getting over the jetlag in Sydney, then heading to the country to be a farm girl for a while (all sans bike ). But then I smell a road trip
Gotta head to Brisvegas to see a friend, so won't say no to that beer. Thanks!

Now, whose gonna take my bike on some adventures???

Open to offers

I have been told I love my bike too much.

Can you blame me??

Loving her a little less then:

£1600 and the bike is yours.

After the HU meeting the bike goes on Ebay.

Seeing my Dommie in Ripley

Hi Folks,

I've had a couple of emails, and will be organising to catch up with two lovely people.

Any other interested bodies, please email me.
I'm excited about the weekend and the chance for a mini-adventure.
I am not going to be doing the hard sell, chasing people about. So if you're keen, I'll organise to catch up with you in Ripley and you can check the Dommie out.

See you there!
(bring yer wellies - looks like it's gonna be muddy)
