1990 Tenere (3aj) for sale - California (SF)
It is with regret that I must put my Tenere up for sale...bought in NZ, toured around both islands, enjoyed the bike so much I brought it home.
However I'm no mechanic, and things are just starting to pile up that need to be done - and I am going to get something newer and quieter, more tarmac-oriented. Known issues on the bike include: Wobbly front headlight/ light flicker Dash lights out Seams on seat ripping One oil filter bolt will need helicoil insert small-ish dent on lower fuel tank Various other scrapes and nicks befitting an adventure bike with two hemispheres under her belt and 57000 K's. She's definately been dropped (not crashed) a few times. Bonuses include a just rebuilt wheel (0 miles) and new pirelli scorpio tire (rear) at 0 miles as well. Pirelli front tire in good condition. And a new battery and new mirrors I'll throw in the soft bags I travel with, and the luggage rack too. Classic bike! I'll try to put up some photos.... $1500 US

I'm interested in the bike. Do you have any recomendations on shipping to the East Coast? Would I have any problems registering the bike here in NY? How hard is it to get parts?
