1989 Yamaha XT600 Tenere (3AJ) - £1700 OBO.

I am selling my 1989 Yahama XT600 Tenere (3AJ) because I am moving to California and it seems like a big expensive headache to import it (please let me know if I am wrong).

It has only 17,000 miles on it. I have an HPI check that I did on it when I bought it last year and the mileage seems genuine. The MOT and tax are good until May 2005. The engine was rebored at 16,000 miles with a genuine yamaha piston kit by the previous owner. I have only put 1000 miles on it in the past 1.5 years (carefully running it in) and it runs great.

As you'll see from the pictures on my website it has a laser produro pipe, good condition tyres (plus a good spare), and chain and spocket with only 1000 miles. Also, it is recently serviced with new sparkplug, new air filter, and I just changed the brake fluid.

I will also throw in a complete gasket set, an owner's manual, and a Clymer repair manual. Bike cover and battery charger can be sold separately at reasonable price.
