Smile 1989 Bmw R100gs, Need To Sell Now!!

Hi, I have just been informed that my beautiful beemer in the Sahara is about to be left without a home. Heres the story: In 2006 I bought this wonderful bike, mint, one owner, in Spain and drove it into Morrocco, Mauritania and in the capital of Mauritania, Nouakchott, one day i was hit from behind by a car in the pannier. The impact directed me into a baracade on the road which caused my front rim to break into three pieces. Nothing else was damaged at all but over the next three days I couldnt find another rim for the bike because they are tubeless, special rims (found in europe or NA easily but not in Africa!!) I had a posse of riders that needed to keep going so I started to search out another bike and found one. I continued on a yamaha and left the BMW with an American UN worker in his house. Well he has kept it for me for two years and I havent been able to get there to drive it back to Spain. So...hes going to be moving on in two weeks and I need to get it out of there. I am trying to avoid flying over there, is anyone nearby that would give me a bit of cash for it???Its a beautiful bike, it breaks my heart to see this happen to it!!

CALL me 1250 305 4693, Im in Canada.

No it is unfixed, the bike needs a front wheel and its ready to go. I found one on moto bins UK for a good price a while back. It is Spanish registered in Malaga. I have the plate here and the papers are with the bike. I can send the plate.

I would have loved to do that, but I am quite stuck here in Buenos Aires (-:

Hope you find someone.

Where exactly is the bike? has anyone run the engine recently. If someone took a wheel to it could they drive it away?
