1986 BMW R80RT Buenos Aires in February
Having Reached Ushiaiu on trusty Chile_bike it´s time to head north. CB is a 86´RT with DRZ400 forks, GS spoked rear and many additions to make a reliable and enjoyable long legged companion. It includes hard, strong,light and very individual luggage, and offers good paved & ripio travel. I leave BA in late February.
The deal is unusual: I´m looking for 1200 quid for the bike, which if you return it to me in a year or so in the UK, in roadworthy condition, I will give you your money back. I would like the bike back. Consequently it will cost you just the frieght in shipping back and clearing it to me in Reading, England. There is no catch. If you want to play, I will ship to you the service items it will need by then & the registration documents. If doing the service yourself is beyond you, this is not the bike for you. This is not a R1200GS on the cheap, but an elegant lady who, if you look after her, she will look after you. Send me a message if you are interested. sdk
