'04 Ducati Multistrada For Sale - Denver, CO
This is a 2004 Ducati 1000DS. It has quite a few options on it including Pro Taper handlebars, Termignoni Exhaust pipes and Hard side bags. Just recently I put on a brand new chain and sprockets with the aftermarket rear sprocket carrier. The tires are both Pirelli Diablo's and have good tread left on them. The front tire boasts huge dual Brembo disc brakes and the rear is equipped with Ducati's sweet single-sided swing-arm. I have included pictures of the bike both in Touring mode and Street mode (with and without luggage carriers).
The bike has been maintained very well and is in great shape. Multistrada's have a lot of mid-range torque but can really get out and stretch their legs at high speed also. It is a great touring bike which is very comfortable cruising at any speed, and it quickly converts into a street bike for in-town riding. I have ridden the bike 800 miles in a single day, and while I was a little sore at the end of the day, it is definitely doable. Ducati's are very reliable and I have not had a single unscheduled maintenance issue to date. There is 22,800 miles on it and a few scratches in the paint. It has never been wrecked, but the paint is a bit on the sensitive side...and my girlfriend accidentally knocked the bike over as we were loading it up with camping gear. The last oil change was completed at 20,300 miles with AmsOil 10-40W Synthetic oil. The bike averages 45 mpg or better at all times.
I will include some extra parts with it and the bike is pre-wired for auxiliary power if you prefer to hook up to a heated riding suit, iPod, etc. The only items that are not included are the Marsee tank and luggage bags. I may consider selling these separately.
Images available on request. I just can't figure out how to upload them on this forum
