Wheels and tyres

Had one offer but not enough for 5 brand new Toyota wheels and tyres.

Sold to the first person with 200 quid, buyer collects.

Happy trails,

Jojo

Hi Jojo,
I'm in the market for some 6.5 - 7" wide steel rims for my 60, but i've realised since my last post that yours are probably only 6" wide like the ones i'm currently running.
Also, is your Troopy a later one with the 5 stud wheels?

If i'm wrong and yours are 6 stud & more than than 6" wide, pm me where you want the cash sent.

Happy travels
Sam

For what it's worth. I've been running 255/85r16's on 6x16 rims for more then 100.000km now.

I have this theory that because the rim is narrower, that tyre is seated better on the rim. And will not run off as quickly when running low pressures (sand driving). But that's just my little theory :-)

I am looking at new rims as well, but because of offset reasons. I'd like to have a bit wider track and clear my chassis a bit more.
