Howdy Dan,
Are we talking the chrome strip that goes along the bottom of the glass or the rubber seals that the doors close against?
If it's the chrome one, the main thing is don't bend it. I removed one of mine to treat some rust and bent it a little, the combination of a rusty door skin and a bent strip has meant it'll never fit on properly again.
If both the door skin and the strip are in good condition, it should just 'pop' into place and the clips will hold it to the door skin.
Let me know if i'm barking up the wrong tree.
I'm back home to be reunited with my truck on friday, so if you want me to check anything then, just let me know.
See you soon
Sam

Going Mad...

Howdy Sam

Hope all is well at your end mate...Looking Forward to Wale's...

These weather shields are driving me mad I think These Fit under the rubber
Seal will have to take some time Looking at which way these fit.

These must pop under the rubber but will not hold unless some glue is
put into the theory of thing's.

Will keep you posted Mate....Drive Safe

Dan......

No worries mate.
Any help i can be tomorrow or friday eve when i'm back with my truck, just let me know.
Are they to replace a worn bit or to give some added protection in addition to what was originally fitted?

Take care bru

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
