Oztent RV3 in 100 series ?
 

Tent is 2m long.

Anyone know if it will slide in a 90 series Colorado without back seats?

Or, do you need a roof rack?

PS. NOT 100 series as stated.

I have one in back of Nissan Partrol ex-Telstra work vehicle - fits just on custom made shelves. I have found it easier to store/unstore on roof rack - and I can put it up there wet. . I bought mine, it was possible to buy plastic pod with rollers in it for putting on roof rack.

Yes, I was trying to avoid a roof rack if possible.

Tent might get stolen. And it would be nice to keep the heavier items low.

It will only fit in the boot if it goes diagonaly which will be a pain, although if you are clever you could rig up a frame between grab handles on the edge of the roof so that you could slide it up there out of the way.
