HEY no Globedrivers here?
If I say she is in trouble then she really is!!! I drove 3x Transafrica and helped anybody on the Road, things has Changed people are more concerned about what Fridge to take or what Kind of Airfilter to put in ****ing 4x4 than they care about the People arround them

My Friend is sitting in a Landcruiser in the Middle of nowhere in Northern Kenia has a lot of trouble to get the Cruiser moving again and need URGENT a Adress for a good Garage in Nairobi.
Is it to much to ask???

cheers
globi

sorry i don't know of any

we are always told that toyotas don't break so maybe no one pays any attention to toyota garages

toyota dealers on this link TOYOTA EAST AFRICA

i think your comments are a little unfair, if no one has the answer then no one can reply and you get useless comments like mine, info from google.

its not about not helping its about not being able to help

look at the dealer map - there is a dealer in northern kenya that may be nearer than nairobi

your 1st message also implies that she is in nairobi, not in northern kenya so she probabily needs local help not nairobi so it helps if you post the correct info

Thanks Guys appreciate!
I had this Adresses already on the List, anyway thanks

What I really need are some recommedation from People who have got their Cruiser in Nairobi serviced/repaired! I can´t believe Nobody had ever a Service in Nairobi.

My Friend drives at time towards Nairobi, the Problem she had is temporary fixed, I am not sure if that lasts till Nairobi.
If she reaches Nairobi then she really need an Expert for Landcruiser, it looks like the Cooling system and the Aftermarket Turbo needs a major doing up.

thanks

Take it easy globi, not everybody reads these posts every day, no need to get angry!

I serviced my car in Nairobi... but I did it myself in the Jungle Junction campsite. It is probably worth contacting them, they have a small (bike orientated) workshop. They should also know about the workshops in town as almost everybody passes trough there. Do search on this forum, you'll quickly find everything you need to know about Jungle Junction.

There is an official Toyota dealer in Nairobi, but they are not really helpful. I bought my service parts there but had to supply my own parts number! Pleny of parts shops around, so it should be no problem to source the parts.

You might want to ask for assistance on the forum of the Landcruiser Club of Southern Africa. --> Land Cruiser Club - Southern Africa » News . But please be friendly in your posts!

Good luck to your friend, I'm sure she'll get sorted. Surely Nairobi has everything required to get her car fixed up.

Try Ndovu in Nairobi, Cristof at Jungle Junction would know where they are. JJ would be a good place to head for anyway.

Try Martin at New World Auto on Gitanga - there are also Ndovu and Alpha Motors, both are in the industrial area.
