Hilux pre 97 or post 97?
Hi Guys just joined looking to buy a Toyota to take to Morocco for a short trip then when I've got some experience a bit further.
I'm keen on a Hilux double cab (or an LC but that's another post) and I wanted to know whether I should go for the post 97 or pre? As I understand it the suspension is very different - but having said that I've looked at 2 Luxes already and they were dissolving fast - farm vehicles which the owners hadn't taken care of at all, whereas the post 97 ones look tidier cleaner, cost the same and seem better looked after. Anyway what are the pros & cons of the 2 designs and do I really have to buy the earliest version? Your thoughts appreciated! Nick
