Guide Recs Mongolian border to Dalian
 

Hi all,

Thanks for the recs in advance. I'm considering going across China.

Ideally Mongolian border to one of the coastal cities where I can take a ferry to Korea.

Ideally the tour will be direct and economical.

Darn Chinese bureaucracy, I much prefer rolling in with a passport/visa and motorcycle registration as with most other countries.

Any tips for tour companies?

Heck of a long ride, from China/Mongolia border to coastal cities in Shandong province.
I would then head for Yantai, stunning beautiful, friendly city.
Just across from Dalian,
Take the ferry to either Korea or Japan.

They arranged our ride thru China 2018, nice guys.
I was on a paid trip, so no idea about the cost, but we had 3 guys with us,
2 in a van and one rode with us on a motorcycle. Probably not cheap...
