Who was in Sainte-Mère-Église May 6

Who?
I took a picture of my bike in front of the church, then looked for a place to park it. Noticed a KTM 990 Adventure and a 1200 GS in te corner, the owners walked towards the museum. As I parked my bike next to the two other I noticed a HU sticker on one of the helmets (see pictures).

My trip was short, only one week and 3000km, but it was great .
Probably the best weather ever! The trip was from the east of the Netherlands, where my parents live, to the west of the Netherlands, where I live. Took a short detour, first to the Belgian Ardennes, then to the French Ardennes, to Verdun then Bar-le-Duc, Paris, Mont Saint Michel, and then along the coast via cap de la Hague, and the d-day landings beaches, Calais, Belgium back to the Netherlands.

How was your trip?

Hi.
Not bad thanks.
Only two weeks though!
Started off in Bruges, then on to a bike rally near Alkmaar Netherlands, across to Hoogezand, down through Germany to Strasbourg, Dijon across to the Il de re, Then onto Bayeux and finally a few days near St Lo to meet up with the KTM. Took a lovely day out doing the beaches ect which is where you saw us.
Any more trips planned?
Dave.

Oef long time ago, but to answer the question: Yes, just came back from the Nordkapp. Awesome 9000km ride! The nordkapp itself is not that special, however the journey to it is. I took the road through Sweden.
Did you do any trips/have trips planned?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
