Waxed cotton ,the height of fashion?

As this is "The HU Bar Chat forum - no useful content required!"

Check out this guys' jacket ,then read some of the comments from the fashion "lovelys".
Absolutely priceless !

The Sartorialist: On the Street.....After Ralph Lauren, NYC

Who'd a thought a scabby old Belstaff , Panther and Triumph badges and an old scarf could be fashionable .
What's next ,flat cap ,donkey jacket with a copy of the Sporting Life in't pocket ,rolled down wellies and a whippet on a lead ?

You guys with multi coloured sci fi textiles are years behind the fashion ,us old buggers with greasy Belstaffs are haute couture .

Mine's a pint of mild .

I always knew that if I dressed the same for long enough that I would come back into fashion.

Is a fashion forum needed?
I'm going to have a serious look for my donkey jacket, but I suspect it's been dumped on the sly.....

That's the one! Though I tend to graze knuckles not grass and mine was customised with the removal of some buttons and the addition of a contrasting belt of insulating tape, which is thought to have great healing properties for bad backs, I've a feeling in my water this could be the next big thing, keep 'em peeled.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
