stripping bike and shipping it in a tiny box
has any one done it this way?
instead of shipping the bike whole. strip the wheels, forks, bars, drain the tank and any other undesirable fluids. stick it in a box. a strong one. maybe even a few boxes. lcl shipping is calculated by the cubic metre so surely this would be a cheaper way of getting the job done. an hour with a spanner it would be roughly the same shape as before. |
