BUT the basic rules of polite and civil conduct which everyone agreed to when signing up for the HUBB, will still apply, though moderation will be a LITTLE looser than elsewhere on the HUBB.

Motorcycle Mama by Sailcat, cheesy 70's ballad. I had the album on vinyl at one time.

Glad Richard Thompson was near the top of this thread - one of my all time faves...'ain't nothing in this world like a '52 Vincent and a red-headed girl....' - awesome line!

BTW, anyone else spotted the neat Vincent reference in Ian Dury's excellent 'Reasons to be Cheerful, Part 3?'

Cheese and pickle...Vincent motorsickle...slap and tickle!'

I guess Motorhead's 'Iron Horse - Born to Lose' is a little heavy for the HUBB, but personally I appreciate some of the sentiments re open highways etc

Now I'm on a roll, how about one 'about motorcycles and not giving a sh*t!'
as Biff introduces Saxon's 'Stallions of the Highway' on some dodgy bootleg live album or other - it's not a patch on their best ever track (IMHO) though - the seminal metal anthem 'Wheels of Steel' - drifting off topic so I'll stop now!

Maybe time for a bump, so I'll try this. Not really a song about bikes but the performer certainly is:

And this, with a little more bike action in the picture.

Enjoy the ride
Not a true bike song, but the sentiments are right

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
