Planning to Go to pakistan from Saudi arabia through Iran

Hi everyone,
I m new member of Horizons Unlimited.I m Pakistani national, currently living in Saudi Arabia. I m planning to go to Pakistan via Dubai and Iran on motor bike solo. I have already travelled from Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) to Dubai on Bike (2200km).
Now I want to go to Pakistan, from Dubai or Sharjah I will take ferry to Bandar Abbas and from Bander Abbas to Pakistani border of Jewani on Makran Coastal High way.
I have already read stories of people going to pakistan from taftan border.
I need latest information regarding Jewani Border crossing I heard it is new Boarder crossing But I don't have much information.

If someone has already crossed this border or has some latest information about this border crossing please let me know. I also need to know what are the customs regulations of Pakistan and Iran. since I m living in Saudi Arabia there is no Carnet de Passage office in the Kingdom.

Looking forward

Hi Tariq Haji,
I am planning to do the same trip the other way, from Pakistan to Dubai or Doha. Please let me know if you have any tip or information. I am planning to do it end of this year, maybe January 2014.
Any tip would be highly appreciated.
Good luck for your journey

If you would post your question in the appropriate section, you could get a lot more answers...

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
