northern thailand trip

In Jan '08 2 friends from England and a friend from Canada rented 4 X 400 cc Honda's in Chiang Mai for $19.- p/day and had some of the best riding ever. The road from Chiang Mai to Pai is 132 km with 762 turns and in (for the most part) good condition. The roads bordering Burma could be MOTO-GP tracks... A bargain holiday with fantastic food, great roads, wonderful people. The Golden Triangle sports some of the best roads for motorbiking and some great towns to visit along the way. Once you pay for your flight the remainder of your stay will be ridiculously cheap compared to Europe or North America. A $ 30.- a night hotel is at the higher end of the scale in the North. If you want any information on Thailand please let me know. I also own a small resort on the magical island of Koh Tao (Utopia Suite). Any adventure riders will be eligible for a 30 % discount (no soliciting here!) In May'09 leaving for Bangkok on my own bike from Toronto(DL1000k6) and can't wait. For a look at the video:
