675 triple engine... That would be a nice nice light chassis with a big tank.

I hope Triumph do us proud and not turn it into a BMW F800GS.

I'm not sure how that engine would feel offroad but i'd be willing to give it a try :)

Surely a triple would overheat as an off-road machine?

What kind of motor does this new bike have? Looks quite nice!

I really doubt triumph will design and build a new engine just for these models. Triumph are still quite a small outfit compared to the Japanese giants.

I predict that they will use the 675 Triple engine for the smaller one. No doubt it will be downtuned with a less aggressive cam and timing.

I don't think it's going to be offroad orientated enough to overheat. Watercooled definately and probably have an oil cooler. If they half a brain anyway.

The bigger one will likely be an adapted Tiger 1050..

Just my guesses anyway.
