mmmm, what's that odour?

Is anybody rushing out to buy some Davidoff Adventure, guaranteed by Ewan McGregor to make your overland fantasies come true?? Thought not..

What would be 'the scent of adventure'? I might start my own line starting with a blend of sweat and petrol, PM me for orders!

Talking

It has to be the smell of shit as I round a bend in a foreign land to be faced with an oncoming truck.

best 'round the bend' I have ever found was that the road, which had been brand new until then, suddenly stopped with a 2 foot drop and some heavy plant lying around. Obviously that was as far as they got building the road!

sorry ewan

when i saw the advert i thought great that'll sort out my dreams!!
but then after calculating everything it's just too heavy and will take up too much room in the panniers. so i'll have to go on suffering without it!!!

surely you could ditch the puncture repair kit, about the same size? It's all very well being able to get where you are going, but whats the point if you arrive unfragranced

Excellent!

When I saw this advert I turned to my mate and said: "So I guess that makes you stink of sweaty Helly Hansen thermals and soggy goretex then?"

Probably got a support vehicle just to carry his aftershave. They've got one for everything else.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
