BUT the basic rules of polite and civil conduct which everyone agreed to when signing up for the HUBB, will still apply, though moderation will be a LITTLE looser than elsewhere on the HUBB.

Whoops Hope "She" is OK after that moment of (fill in this space)

Should have called it Pain to fame.

Once witnesed a fellow rider fall to the ground at traffic lights (unhurt) he later told " did you see her". He simply forgot to put his feet to the ground.

Errr
Once stopped - put foot down in the usually way ... into a puddle ... it was a lot deeper than usual ...

Lesson. When putting foot down be sure of the surface. Avoid banana/s, water where you cannot see the bottom, loose things ...

Note on soft panniers .. if they are packed with hard things like stove, pots, tinned food, tools etc .. then there may be a slight give... but you'll still have an impact.

Too be honest it looks set up to me Im pretty sure that same mag did a similiar you tube release when they deliberately crashed a GTR1400 in the Alsace . Looking at the way the rider came off the bike , im pretty most people wouldnt be so composed . Also why ride so close to the waters edge on the wrong side of the posts ?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
