Nice bike!

Congratulations. It's as cool looking now as it was 50 years ago. Classic lines never go out of style.

Have fun!

Best,
John Downs

Nice one. Had mine 8 years and no intention of selling it, just keep putting petrol in and buying tyres.

Stuff the looks though, these are for riding. The polishers at the owners club are just there to keep us in cheap spares! If you need a reccomendation on snow tyres I can help though!

Not sure if it will worry you in your climate, but blather the main earthwire to frame connection down on the gearbox and the coil connections (up by the headstock) in grease sometime in the first year. They are not really any sort of weak point until you introduce salted roads but for the time it takes could be worth it.

I read about a couple of guys on the triumphrat forum with that problem
but there were quite a few suggestions to fix/prevent it

Thanks but we don't salt the roads here. Not a lot of snow except in the aptly named snowy mountains but I'm unlikely to get up there out of summer.
Thanks for the tip anyway

Great Bike.
we just sold our Triumph Scrambler at the weekend, sad to see it go but it should get us a few more months out on the road.
