Wont look at it. Too full of 'Barclays' for my liking.

[QUOTE=mollydog;222578]This is pretty common there. On Jo Momma you will see a lot of the high count posters, many over 100,000. A sad and pathetic group of losers mostly.

I think there is actually only one guy that has a a 100K post count. I really shouldn't mention it, but I noticed that your post count on ADVrider is higher than it is here (yikes- so is mine)!

When I was travelling the world by bike I practically lived here on HU. Now that I'm chained to a desk five days a week, I find plenty of entertainment (and community) over there.

Now here,s

Now here,s an exellent example.A guy with sixteen posts to his name calling the people on another website 'Barclays' to those of you who don,t know this guy just called everybody on Adv a bunch of Wankers.Obviously an intelectual! also letting us all see that all the people here aren,t so perfect and that there are a number of Dickheads in the numbers here as well.
Let,s all thank him for proving a point.

I basically consider Jo Momma a different web site all together. It isn't supposed to be about motorcycles and I guess it was formed specifically to prevent polluting of the parts of the web site that are. Then they subdivided the political ranting to it's own forum and finally added the Inmates section for people who want to be nice (while still not talking bikes). I can't imagine the future of the phenominon, but I would guess it will have to keep having more and more subdivisions to manage the high volume. Or people will just get bored with it. We'll see.

As has been said, no place remotely touches HU for practical, world travel info. ADV is a different thing. And then there is Maximum bikes which seems to exist only so that people who have been banned from ADVrider can still make use of thier computers

Also

There,s another site called Pashnit motorcycle forum a really well put together site.
Maybe someone would like to carry on offending people by calling them wankers too.
Get that 17th post right up there!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events (22 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
