As mentioned in the comments on YouTube itself, he seems to be riding with the clutch pulled and the front wheel isn't turning. Does anyone else think it's a fake?

Given he rides the same bike with the same helmet cam in several other videos on youtube, I think it is genuine.

I think the front wheel appearing not to move is just a function of the helmet camera. Impressive riding!

Mmmn, judging by the depth of the rut , he wasn't the first one up there .
Still good fun though .

The first time someone showed me that I was fairly impressed, but thought the image seemed a bit fish-eyed throughout making the height of of the ridge seem greater than it would have. Looking again I'd say that's definately fake. Look at the helmet, the shadows aren't right, and his head seems perfectly stable, and doesn't move hardly at all when he's going up/down hill for him to see where he's going.

Not saying that people don't actually get out and do that kind of riding though.

//edit:
Looking at it a third time, the bike/rider looks exactly like from a video game. Am in no doubt

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
