Happy New Year from Estonia

After quite a hectic year I won't be sad if next year is a little calmer, with a bit of bike touring thrown in for good measure.

Here's hoping you each have the year you wish for be it at home or somewhere under foreign skies!

My 2011 has begun in the worse way possible, cuz on January 1 my beloved 4-year old German Shepherd passed away due to a heart attack despite the incredible efforts of the doctors to save her life.
Now it seems to live in a nightmare, but I'm sure time will heal my pain.

Anyway, I wish you all an unforgettable new year full of rides all over the world with no problems of any kind.

I'm really sorry to hear that.

We have two dogs. We got them when we moved over here and, despite the teething problems that come with the new experience of dog ownership, I can fully sympathise with the way a dog can get deep into your heart. The thought of something happen to ours is truly awful.

I hope that, with time, you can get over this sad event and remember the, doubtless, plentiful good times.

Thanks for your words, Warthog.

There'll come better times, I'm sure.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
