GPz 550 Great Britain tour
 

Hello folks,

Just for the fun of it I thought I would post here that my brother and I will be riding a Great Britain route at the end of May 2013 covering 17 days and 6000km on GPz 550s (ZX550A) from Denmark through Calais, up the east coast of England to the tip of Scotland, then down through the Highlands to Stranraer to N. Ireland, then down through Dublin over to Wales, then down through the Midlands, and back through Calais, BE, NL and DK again.

If anyone wants to bring out their GPz 550 (or any bike for that matter :) ) for a bit of the trip, you are most welcome. We have no accommodation plans, and plan to ad-hoc it, so we will camp and B&B/whatever.

I've become a bit of a GPz 550 fanatic over the past three years, and I've just completed rebuilding the motor of a cheapie I picked up in DE, so I now have 2 identical bikes, in very much refurbished condition.

EDIT: I read Keks "I'm getting annoyed" post and wish to state that there's no fund-raiser involved here. Keks, I support your line of thought! I have worked my skinny ass off to get these bikes in ship-shape using literally hundreds of hours, and now all I want to do is RIDE them and get out a little of what I have put in.
