Lois Pryce

Wow what a lady. Just read both her books. She is gorgious, my dream lady. I wouldn't be at all surprised if she drank pints. What do you think?

Wow, thanks for that Molly. I didn't know she contributed on here. Yeah, I knew she was married. I wish my Mrs was like that. I think I may of met her hubby. many years ago, Chris Scott had a book launch (AHB 3rd edition) at the slug and Lettuce in Covent Garden, as a contributor, I was invited. Some of the Mondo team turned up, smashing blokes, can't recall if Austin went though.

Lois, if you are reading this and want a real man...

I love red heads!

Yes, the perfect woman!

Thinks.... "Hmmm, wonder if she can wear a Norton T Shirt?"

I'd like to, but I won't ask the collar and cuffs question!

Also, as Tommy Cooper once said:

"Ha,ha,ha, thankyouverymuch" "The other night, I went out with this lovely red head, yes, she had no hair, just a red head!"

Night chaps.

Cheers

Chris

The day she gets off her own pedestal will be the day I consider buying one of her books. I'm sure her trips were a great achievement but she doesn't have to belittle others to make herslf look good.

Maybe you should read the books, I have both, and I have nothing but admiration for her, and Vince

Big up to both of them

Fair enough mate, everyone to their own. Have only read the books and she comes across really well. Just like Dan Walsh, she didn't set out to try and save the planet or improve world peace, just have a good adventure which I thought was refreshing. If you haven't read her books, then i'm guessing that you've been to one of her talks. What do you mean by belittling others?

:confused1:

I don't think I have ever read about her belittling someone. What is this incident of which you speak?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
