more riders, good

Good to see more riders in Egypt. Curious though, how do you manage to drive in Egypt with a California License Plate ? Didn't you guys have to import temporarily those bikes, and put on one of those yellow plate? Or could it be that you haven't yet found time to deal with the Traffic Authority and get the Egyptian plates? In any case, nice bikes, not so many BMWs out there, how are they doing on the dunes?

Hi Squire,
I registered the bike in cairo already once it arrived, I have the new plates under the seat; they arejust ugly to hang. I have been stopped in 8 police stops so far they only checked my registration and license and no one bothered to look at the plates yet.. I am just waiting to get in trouble and then I will have to hang them. It is all part of the Adventure.
As for the bike on the dunes it is actually much better than expected. It took a while to get used to it but I am everyday more in love with that bike.
