TT - something special

If you have 45 minutes, one of the best documentries I have seen on road racing on real roads.
I have never been to IOM, probably never will, but I was fascinated.

Hi Peter, another good TT film to watch is '3D Closer to the edge'. If you have never been to the Isle of Man for the TT I highly recommend it, it is THE only motorcycle event I won't miss.

Both are good films, but the best place to see the TT from and get the full atmosphere is on the Isle of Man. IMHO it's a must for any serious motorcyclist!

I was worried cos I thought TT in the thread title might mean Touratwat Lucky escape there.

Here's a 5.57 video. No idea who filmed it

Been going to the Island since 1969 and that ranks as one of the better films I have seen and gives a good flavor of the TT, nice one

Don't delay, get booked! Chris Brights clips posted above are a very good non professional effort of capturing the unique atmosphere of the TT.

Am thinking of spending the hard earned on a first visit to Assen for the Dutch TT this year instead of the IOM TT and just going to the Island for the Manx gp festival. Always had the Dutch down as a must do one day as I have heard it's a great event/good atmosphere not to be missed.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
