Can't find homemade pannier thread

I remember reading an excellent thread buy a guy who made some awesome aluminium panniers, i've been searching for it again as i want to have a go at making some only i cant find it, could someone please tell me where to find it?

Its the one where he uses 2mm aluminium sheet, angle and pop rivets.

Thanks Jim

Hi Steve, i tried the search but couldn't find it, i'm hoping to make some panniers for my Strom1000 any pics would be great. I used some allit panniers last year for a trip but found them to be really thin.

Deenewcastle, thanks mate thats the elusive thread i wanted.

And thank you Jim. I was going to go with Allit as they didn't seem to be much more than a DIY set, but now I'll not bother. I did wonder if they might be a bit on the thin side
