I came across this photo and found it quite inspirational!
With all the development of technologies on big modern bikes (which often break down...) how wonderful & refreshing it is to see this !

I guess people find inspiration different ways.
Personally I like going to exotic places and I like to drive offroad with a functional big powerful bike. Sometimes I travel without a bike, sometimes I ride a bike without traveling and sometimes I do both.
So for me a lot of different pictures can be inspiring, the pictures in the HU-calendar usually combine bikes and exotic places in a nice way.

Well, it's not the bike it's the journey, that's what stays with you long after the bike has been written off :-) The advertising agencies and magazines try to persaude us otherwise trying to tell us we need the latest this and that. Buy a simple reliable bike, paint and chrome won't get you home :cool4:

I can't understand how people can write off a touring bike...

When it gets into an argument with a 40 ton Volvo lorry on the A52 :-(
