Off Road Motorcycle Schools Yorkshire???

Hey up everyone. Ive being trying to find some off road centres in yorkshire, in particular west yorkshire, so I can start having some fun in the mud on a sunday afternoon. Eventually id like to try a couple of rallies in late 2010, but I need somewhere to start off.

Ive consider the Trail Riders Fellowship but its not really what Im looking for, a decent trails park with instruction would be ideal.

Any info would be great

Cheers

i2i are based in Yorkshire, or at least heve training facilities in Yorkshire. i2imca Home Page

I know you said you don't fancy the TRF as it isn't what you are looking for, but West Yorkshire TRF are having a practice day on the 19th of December at the 4*4 centre in Tong. There isn't any instruction as such but there will be circuits marked out of varying difficulty, and there will be plenty of WYTRF members around that will offer advice if asked, they are a friendly bunch.

West Yorkshire Trail Riders Fellowship TRF if you are interested.

Tommy, The TRF is an ideal organisation to join, a wealth of knowledge, If you are near Keighley, try and hook-up with Chris Bright, Dazzer etc, and check out BMWGS.co.uk :: Index don't be fooled, very little to do with BMW's !

Speedway Tommy ? Have you ever tried it? Our Enduro club went on a try Speedway day, Riding one goes against everything you have ever been taught about motorcycle riding, out of about 12 of us there, 2 that 'slid off' and 1 that needed his wrist wiring up!
Other than that.........good fun.

Rallies are what i do i've been winner of the big bike challenge when it ran have won about every UK rally at some time or another and race in europe on a regular bases in the rallies.
I'm actually a ex British Enduro Champion as well back from my younger days of riding enduro's.
I now run a trail riding company which does support for international rallies including training and preparation physical and hardware.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
