Back when I was very young and stupid, one morning at 3:00 am I ran our town's only stop light at 100 mph over the speed limit. Although I could see no cross traffic a mile in each direction it was still a very stupid thing to do naked.

When I was a spotty 16 year old at grammar school in England ,in the seventies ,I used to hide my 200cc Dot scrambler in the bushes and give rides to fellow sufferers ,or pupils as we were known, during midwinter cross country runs in exchange for beer at the pub .
As I was smart enough not to get caught ,in retrospect, I must have learnt something at school.

Other antics included trying to leap the canal on a 98cc bike,it failed, but we always had a rope attached to it so we could pull it out of the water.

Then there were ¨¨adventure¨¨ rides on the canal towpath with our homemade cannon to shoot at a dilapitated boat that belonged to a guy jailed for murder. It did sink eventually.

I once raced ,and beat ,a Ferrari Dino home from the pub on my Norton .
I know they are not the fastest of Ferraris but what the heck .

Life has been rather boring of late .

I once parked on a yellow line for at least five minutes. Yeah crazy I know but that's the kind of guy I am.

X7s

My friend and I both had identical Suzuki X7 250s in the early 80's which were notorious as the first learner legal motorbikes to do 100mph. So every outing, we would find a suitable road, and then dare each other to try out and hit 100mph.

My son is 6 and no way do I want him to have a motorbike. 17 year olds on motorbikes are idiots

stupid me

When I was 19 I had my 1st crop of tobacco. I took allthe profit and bought a 1975 Kawasaki Z-1. Nothing stupid yet.
When I still had the stock pipes on it I fpund I could ride up between my freinds and they couldn't hear me til I shot up between them.I did this dozens of times at 30to 50 mph faster than they were going. How we never ended up in a big wad,I don't know.
I accually figured it out and stopped doing it before a big bang.Wisdom at 20?

Innocent fun....

I took my motorcycle down to the local She-Been..if thats how you spell it.(South African illigal off licence). Bought myself a 750ml beer and headed to the local holiday resort where I drank my beer at the pool. I had to run like hell when the management came.
I was 8 years old!! Thats what you get for being the youngest of 3 boys!

Here's some 'bad behavior' for you.

I liked the bit about the guy who tried to cover his numberplate with his feet to avoid getting a ticket! Its interesting to hear that even though your bike number plate might not get photographed by a forward facing speed camera, it doesn't necessarily mean you won't get a ticket.
