Ditto for Peaks, Yorkshire Dales or North York Moors or if they're en route to that suburb of England known as Scotchland . Am based near Huddersfield, close to jtn25 on M62, about 1/2 way between Manchester and Leeds.

Pls do advise them it'll be a bit nippy up here, but well worth a visit.

cheers
Chris

After changed plans and cancelled/delayed ferries the offers above went full circle and it was our pleasure to meet these lovely young ladies a couple of days ago and put them up for the night. After a 3 hour grilling by the UK border agency, which wasn't looking too hopeful until a final desperate telephone plea from Tiffany, they were finally allowed into the country. These girls have some amazing ride stories from their trip so far, especially the journey across Russia from Vladivostok on their 125cc scooters. They set off yesterday morning for Cornwall so here's hoping they reach Tiffany safely and they all have a great Christmas together.

Please do let us know what they're up to everyone. While I can't offer a bed as our flat is took small, I'm more than happy to ask everyone I know in London if they have space, and if nothing else I can be a London guide.

I wonder if they'd like to come to the Ace Cafe's Adventure Overland day in February? Just to show all the shiny GS owners that you don't need 1200cc?

Sorry everyone!

I live in Portsmouth, could've helped them out, but I'm currently travelling in south America ...

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
