What goes around comes around

As I said in my previous post
A "thank you" is nice , but not esential.
As point of interest, I am just back from Paris after recovering my bike that broke down a week or so ago (gearbox nackered).
A very helpfull biker in Paris , Phileppe manager of the bike accessory shop TEAMAXE in Billancourt ,who looked after my gear till I was able to return for it.
I thanked him , but he assured me that he had done nothing special and was glad to help. Never the less when I returned to Paris on Wednesday I brought him a wee present from Scotland, nameley a bottle of 15 year old single Malt. He told me that it was totaly un-nessasary to reward him, (but the way he held on to that bottle showed that he was quite pleased :D).
So as I said a thank you is not nessary but is nice.
There were other people that helped me while I was there that I was not able to thank, like the BMW mechainic who came to check out my bike and gave me a lift on the back of his scooter:scooter: ( I was shitting myself).
The shop assistant that came out and helped me push the bike to safety and several more that helped in small but important ways.
So as I said "Chill out bud" , next time it may be you.

P.S. If I were you I would call myself VATman, not batman, cause at the end of the day you want your percentage.

As it says in the HU sub-forum description for the HU Bar: "Chat forum - no useful content required!". Very true here.

To the OP: why not contact the "pretend-anonymous" person you helped and request his (I presume it's a "he", maybe you disguised his/her identity too cunningly?) thanks if it's that important to you!

Many people on this forum give useful advice to fellow travellers and also help people on the road. If we all got annoyed every time we weren't explicitely thanked for our advice/help, there'd be a lot of very p!ssed off looking people at each and every HU meeting.

Chill! You earnt your good karma for your good deed. It will be reciprocated.
