I frequent about about 4 sites, besides my own message board. Each site is great for what it is. I like ADVrider part for the entertainment, part for the information and for the camaraderie.
I enjoy this site for the focus on specific MC travel info, the international flair and the camaraderie. In my mind they are different and complement each other. Nothing more, nothing less...

The hubb is compact, searchable, concise and specific to international moto travel.
ADVrider is quite useful though. Although it is primarily an entertainment site (ride repoerts and jo momma are by far the most active forums), due to its high volume of traffic, it is a better place to post mechanical questions, get user opinions on gear or learn about technique. If you enjoy getting feedback on your travels, you´ll get much more response from an ADV ride report than from posts on the hubb or on a blogg. The international forums on ADV get less traffic than those on the hubb and these posters are often not as experienced as hubbers, but the ADVérs do their best to be helpful. (I often use both) I disagree that ADV is for americans & the hubb for brits and europeans, the two forums simply have very different purposes. Quite frankly, the reason the hubb gets so much less traffic, is that the fraternity of intl moto travelers is actually quite small and fairly exclusive. ADV is filled with a bunch of folks that dream of international moto travel and enjoy reading about it, the hubb is for the relatively small number of people that actually do it.
