Opie Oils live just down the road from me. I remember when they were a very small (and local) but always a highly regarded player in the oil delivery business [.. me showing my age, eh?!].

Now it seems they sell bikers' allsorts, and want to trade oils and the other stuff nationwide. Who would have thunked it.

Thanks for the heads-up Grant.

I used to get my red diesel from the Redruth shop ( by the chip shop ). You have a problem with your website. I tried to have it find the right oil and got to a page wit three choices, it let me fill in make and model, butthen sent me round in circles looking for a year number/letter. I gave up.

Yep, bottom of Buller Hill / Southgate Street, next door to Morrison's chippy. Once-upon-a-time (1980s) I lived about 200m away, in Clijah Cose, just off Southgate St.

Shame about the website though .. :( .. :confused1:

Sorry to hear you found a problem... I've just checked and can't reproduce the problem. I think it may be specific to the make / model / model-year combination you were looking for. Could you let me know which bike you were looking for and I'll try and recreate the problem?

Many thanks

You need to register to get a personal oil recommendation - and the registration requires you to enter a password

Bank holiday weekend special offer at Opieoils.co.uk

It's bank holiday time again... and as you know, bank holidays bring big discounts at Opie Oils!

This weekend, we're running another offer which will bag you 15% - 30% off RRP on pretty much everything we sell.

Just spend £30 or more in a single transaction before midnight on Tuesday 26th May 2009 and use offer code BIKEHOLIDAY at the checkout.

The offer code will get you 15% off, so combine with your club forum discount of 10% - 15% to get substantial savings. Orders under £30 will still qualify for your club forum discount - remember to sign in (or sign up) to see your discounted prices.

What's on Offer?

Everything we sell (with the exception of Splitfire coilpacks for cars, Brembo brake discs, pads & upgrade kits) !

So, take your pick... we've 2 stroke oils, 4 stroke oils, gear oils, lubricants, cleaners and other aerosols from Castrol, Motul and Silkolene.

If you're a car owner you might also be interested in the new range of oils from Gulf (details on our web site) or our wide range of car oils, lubricants, cleaning and detailing products.

Don't forget we're always happy to offer advice if you're unsure as to what oil or lubricant you need!

Cheers

Thanks
Fern

Sorry for the confusion... the prices currently available on our web site are the discounted prices, and these are available to everyone. We have had to change the way in which the prices are displayed and accessed as many members were not understanding how they got our best prices, and because of restrictions put in place by Google Shopping regarding split members / non-members pricing.

We have not taken the discounts away they are just easier to get!

Cheers

Tim
