Can't fit tire even on the rim

I find it real hard trying to fit my Anakee tire on the front rim for my AT. It will not fit even around. I have tried alot of WD40 and hit the air pressure up to 4 bar, but still no good resault. Any tips or tricks out the? How much is the maximum air preassure I can try?

Strange, have you checked that it is the right size tyre? I know it may have appeared obvious,but I have met more than once people whose bikes have 'failed' to start only to find either its been out of fuel, 'kill' switch off or ignition not turned on!!

Cant understand why you are using an airline?

The AT-rims might be a bit difficult, Zalo and 6 bars usually do the trick.

But he has not got the tyre anywhere near the wheel yet, so the airline is a bit premature don't you think?

I thought the same, if the tyre isn't on the rim I can't see a lot of use for an airline. Keep us updated.

The tire is on the rim, when I fill it with air, one side pops even on the bead, but half the tire on the other side doesn't. I will take the tire off again, clean the rim very well and then try to hit the preassure up to 6 bar.

Maybe it is too cold in my garage, think it around -5 celcius. -25 out side... The tire is quite stiff.....

Ah, perhaps the tyre should be a bit warmer, that would help! Now get a rachet strap and put it around the circumference and tighten it but not too much then try and put air into it, hope I have explained this well enough. Have seen it done with a car tyre that would not 'seat' properly due to slight distorsion whilst stored.

It also depends on how much air pr second your compressor can deliver.

Mabe you should try the lighterfuel trick ?

This is surely a Tubed tyre NOT Tubeless ?

Take the tyre in the house for a while to warm it up and make the rubber more pliable.Use plenty of lube,proper tyre soap is best.It should go on easy,no need for huge pressure to seat it.

Finally I got it right on. Got hold on some proper tire lube, an hammer and four other hands :-) it wasn't easy, but we managed it at last.

Yes, it is tubed. I wish it wasn't, because I often use the lightergas method on my ATV, it works every time. Thanks guys, now I only hope the snow will melt away soon.
