Handlebar/Wheel Alignment
Hello all. Fell of my bike last week/crashed it into a black bin and turns out the handlebar is bent to the left. Im sure its the top section/headset as this is what took the brunt. I have the luck of working in a mates garage on thursday.
What should I look for when I take the front end to pieces? Bent forks and clamps I know of, but anyone had any other experiences with miss-alignment. Its amazing how naturally the bike will ride with its wheels staright, even when the handlebar/headset is twisted, path of least resistance I guess. Thanks

It’s usually the stanchions that have moved in the trippleclamp.
Open the bolts on lower trippleclamp, realign and tighten. Sometimes it’s easier if you remove the wheel. |
