Fork air bleeder valves

I did email the company who set up my suspension, but have not received a reply - novice help needed!

I have Ohlins front forks on my F800GS. At Donnington recently, I spoke to someone who had the quick air release push-button valves fitted. They looked great, so I bought a pair. I do have three questions, however. Firstly, can I simply take out the current release valves from the top of the forks, or will there be more to it than that? Secondly, if I do take them out would the front tyre need to be off the floor completely? Currently I make sure it is when I use the original valve. Thirdly, although officially supposed to happen, is making sure the front tyre is completely off the floor really necessary? Could I just use the push valve when I'm not sitting on the bike, i.e. no excess weight on the front?

These are probably straight forward questions for some, but my current lack of expertise has left me blank I'm afraid!

Thanks in advance for the help.

These are basically what I'm on about:

This all seems a little redundant answering my own question, but if someone were to search later . . . . . . .

Dave Lomax at Adventure Spec sells micro bleeders that look great. For my Ohlins cartridge front suspension I need the 11-0080 in black. Adventure spec sell three, but this is the one.

Several people on different sites have commented that they only release air with no weight on the bike, but with the wheel on the floor. So that's what I'll do.

So, there you go . . . .
