Dual purpose tyres

Anyone got any favourite dual purpose tyres for tarmac/dirt. Ive had Michelin Siracs which lasted about 5000 miles (crap) and Conti trail attacks which are next to useless in the dirt. Ive heard good things about the Conti tck80's.Whats your best booties?

Pure off road
Mitas E-10 Adventure Rear

But for mix of road/off road I'd definitely go for the Mitas E07

Ian Coates swears by Trailwings. He's squeezed some serious mileage out of them on his Africa Twin in south, central and North America and also Africa. I took his advice and threw them on my GS for the tarmac sections to Yukon & Alaska last year. They faired up well ut I never got the chance to use them on the Dempster or Dalton highways because I was carrying my TKC's for that section of the trip. Ian claims they're good for rough African roads though!

Kindest regards

Personally I rate the Heidenau K60. Was the perfect tyre for a trip from the UK to Morocco, being much better than the TKC80 on road, and at least as good on the dirt/gravel tracks I rode. Don't know about it's mud performance, because I haven't tried.

Currently running trail attacks as I'm doing 100% road riding, but they K60's are about half worn at 5000 miles...

Dunlop D606. Minimum 7000km mileage for me.

Most non-knobby dual sport tyres suck IMHO.
