Windshield
Need a windshield for my 96 dr 650 SE.
Can anyone help me? |

Have you thought of making one dont know how tall you want it . I made a windshild extentoin for my bmw out of a old bit of perspex & it worked well . If you cut it with i jig saw use a blade for cutting plastic that seemed to stop it shatering . You mite want to practice on an old bit 1st . then heated up the edge over the gas cooker & pressed it against the sink to get the curve on the top edge then drilled 2 holes im both sceens (you could drill the cowling) then bolted then together removed the protetive coating & hey presto you have a screen. Or you could take the cowling off & use a uinversal screen like they sell for many commuting & custom bikes .

You should be able to make something of that hight quite easy out of perspex
|

Buying all the pieces of the DR Djebel its way too expensive. The price here in Portugal is about 220,00€
I don't want to spend so much money. I found a windshield of MRA that will fit perfectly and a German guy told me the cost was about 100,00€. I will put a picture in here. |
