wee strom abs ?
i am planning my big european tour this summer, scotland to turkey and all points in between, and have decided to buy a suzuki 650 v strom. i am not planning on any serious off road stuff , as i have never had a bike with abs brakes before, can anyone tell me is it really worth the few extra hundred pounds ? . i can get a new non abs strom for £4995 or a 2007 abs model for £5400 . . also how does the abs affect riding on dirt or gravel roads. thank,s .

I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with the abs system used on this bike AND if it can be switched off for dirt road riding .

I've not seen an ABS model yet.
