to Torque or not to Torque? DR650SE..
so... im in Mandoza Argentina at the moment about to do a valve check and perhaps adjustment if needed. I have all the gear with me apart from a torque wrench. how Important is it to torque the bolts in the valve inspection covers? and also the inspection cap on the magneto?
cheers -Andrew

I'm no mechanic, but I don't usually break things either. I don't use a torque wrench on any of those.

Never needed it when I did mine. Make sure the piston is on the right stroke, I lined up the mark and reset the clearances but as it was on the wrong stroke, it sounded like a bag of spanners falling down the stairs. Easy to fix but a pain to do all over again.
