suzuki an250 burgman

my 250 burgman still keeps cutting out after it warms up, it is fine on the open roads but when i stop at a junction and twist the accelerator take off it just splutters and stalls.

however it will start up again usually with no problem,at the moment i manage to overcome this problem be keeping the revs high at a junction.

i have replaced the thermo element and the air filter and cleaned the carb but the same problem still plagues me, it feels like it is always getting too much fuel?

if anyone can help please let me know what to try next

thanks

???

Thermo element? Is that the cold start carb circuit activator? The only scooters I have been into are 50cc jobbies and they have all had a stubby metal rod between the motor and the carb that expanded and closed off the cold start circuit when warm. Yours may well be different.
I know it sounds a bit too simple but have you tried a new spark plug? It's not very likely to be the problem but you seem to have covered a lot of bases and I'm scratching my head. http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub.../confused1.gif
:confused1: Also how does it run at very high engine speeds? If it's getting too much fuel it may be down on power at high revs too. If you get a new plug, do you know how to read a plug for mixture? If not let me know before you use it and I will give you a link.
