snorkle

A couple of weeks ago I pulled out the snorkle on my DRZ-400S to see if it would improve power etc. I am happy to say it does. I live at sea level so altude is not a problem. I am not sure if it helps the top end or not since I dont ride that fast,(i'v had it to 80 mph with throttle left) but it helps low and mid range power. I did NOT cut anything or rejet, just poped the snorkle out. Did not seem to effect gas milage one way or another.

I have the same experience with my DR650. Snorkle out and a little hole in the air box and the bike seems to have slightly more power when in counts. I used to own a Suzuki TS250X 2 stroke years ago and it also improved greatly with a bit of easy breathing.
