Really need new engine bolts to remount?

In the Suzuki DR650 manual it is suggested to replace the engine mounting bolts when remounting the engine in the frame. Is this really necessary or just precautionary? Is it critical?

Cheers,
Rossy.

Lock tight

Hi use the old bolts, if you are a bit worried about them comming undone stick a bit of lock tight glue on the threads, ive yet to have a problem. Skip

I've never heard of an engine mount bolt that broke, unless it was not tight or there was accident damage.
