You may want to ask that question in the GS500 Forum to get a quicker answer although you will probably need the exact details of your bike. Is it the 'E', the 'F' or the 'L' version?
SUZUKI Fiche by year here
Ebay has a possible one showing number BB1225 8J22
Nuneaton breaks bikes and appears to have some
or you may want to email your question supplying details of the bike to
Suzuki_parts@alpha-sports.com.
