I am in Arizona and need a carb for a TS 185. Are there any available down your way, I think it would be easy to get from mexico to the us vs from anyplace else.

Thanks Hank

I would have sent a PM but do not have enough post to be allowed to do that. Sorry.

I'll probably go to the Suzuki dealer tomorrow to buy oil and a filter. I'll check and send a reply. You can still buy them new here so I guess you can still get anything from Japan.

Thanks for the reply. My neighbor goes down to sonora on hunting trips (he is a guide) so maybe he can get me one if they are available. A used one would be OK/preferable until I see what I have to work with.

Thanks again.

another thing, if they can let you know if there is a different carb that will work, if its a spigot type if they have the manifold adaptor.

I went to Suzuki today. They don't sell the carb as a complete unit but as 33 or more different parts. I think you would be better posting again with a title like "Suzuki Ts185 Carb" and asking what make and model it is a then looking around in the States. The parts guy had all the parts numbers nd said it would take about 3 months to get them from Japan. If we can get them from Japan here in Mex you should be able to do the same there and it should cost less.
Good luck

OK thanks, read a book that said it is the same carb on the TS 125 so am looking there. Are there any MC junk yards down in mexico vs just the dealer? If there is and I can get a link, my neighbor could send a mail to them.

Have tried all over with no luck so far.

Thanks again.
