DL 650 ABS manual

Hi all,

I'm looking for someone with the manual for the wee strom abs. It's 09' plate and ABS. After speaking to Haynes they don't do the manuals for this bike and don't anticipate that changing in the nearest future. After speaking to SUZUKI they've got their workshop manuals but to get it right for the ABS version you need two:

1. Standard DL 650
2. Additional manual with ABs revisions to the standard one.

It all comes to approx. £180 so quite pricy

Does anyone have something that I could copy? I'm leaving for a RTW trip two up with my wife next year so need something. If nothing is available I'll buy the SUZUKI ones but would prefer to get somehting cheaper.

All the best to you all!

Stay safe and thanks!

Andy

Hey Andy,

I have the same problem. I am riding 2008 weestrom abs. W`re leaving in august 2-up to Nepal.
The only manual I could find on the internet is this one mc-oplevelser.dk But this the basic manual, not for the ABS version.
I hope it is any help for you...

Greetz,

Gert

Thanks!

Thanks a lot! This is quite good. There is a full service manual for a wee strom. It's for a K4 though. I'll print it off and try to find the differences. Hopefully there won't be that many. But then again bikes change wihtin 5 years time although looking the same on the outside.

Thanks a lot for this website anyway.

Stay safe!
Andy

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
